Steal the Look: Modern Hawaiian

This living room we did for Hidden Potential Season 1, Episode 7 “Ohana Means Family” has long been a fave on Instagram, Pinterest… you name it!  This Modern Hawaiian look is fresh and warm and unique all at once, so I get it!  In fact, I get so much love and so many comments on this room that I decided to do a Steal the Look: Modern Hawaiian post so I can break it all down for you.  We were so lucky to have Candi from Urban Wall Design come and make that epic wood feature wall, but if you don’t have next-level carpentry skills like her, you can still achieve a cool look.  You could put up some wood paneling in your room and paint it this same paint color – Caribbean Teal by Benjamin Moore – and add some floating shelves painted in the same color.  Or, I still think it would look great just to paint a regular wall this color!

As for some of the other details that can easily be replicated, I’m sharing those down below!  It was so fun to revisit this project again… took me right down memory lane!
